This course hits flexibility and strength. These are components that should not be missing from any Asana practice and it sure can’t hurt to do some extra sessions and focus on that in particular.
This helps you in every other Yoga practice and in everyday life, as it is targeted to strengthen any weak links and to loosen the stiff parts in your body.
Embedded in a traditional Ashtanga practice is a mobility training sequence that prepares the part of the series that we will practice in that session. We will cover the whole first or second series over the course of several weeks.
Props that you might need:
Yoga belt
Resistance band
2 tennis balls or fascia balls
2 weights (1-2kg, or water bottles)
