YOGA & FREEDIVING

WHAT IS FREEDIVING?

Freediving is diving with minimal equipment. Just with the air in your lungs, a mask to see and fins on your feet. This can be done competitively for depth or for pure enjoyment.

There are several techniques you need to learn:
how to take in air, how to equalize pressure in your ears, and how to slow down your heart rate with dedicated breathing and relaxation techniques.
Once this is in place and you are diving with a buddy to make sure you’re safe, you find yourself in a serene environment, completely relaxed, feeling weightless.
Sounds great, doesn’t it?!

WHETHER YOU ARE NEW OR OLD TO FREEDIVING, THIS IS FOR YOU

Why Yoga for Freediving?

Alex

I am happy to present my wonderful Collab Partner Alex from Corfu Freedivers. He has taught me what it means to go into a truly meditative state in another world – the world of water. There are astonishing similarities between yoga and freediving that we want to bring to the world.
Alex is a travel enthusiast as well as a movement lover. He found his passion for freediving in his childhood. Now he teaches with patience and enthusiasm to bring the beauty of his sport closer to his students.
