Each week, you’ll practice a different third of the Primary and Second Series of Ashtanga Yoga.
Ashtanga follows set sequences, and once you start gradually memorizing them, it becomes easier to step onto the mat without guidance and ease into a meditative state — you no longer have to think about what comes next.
Each session begins with sun salutations and the standing foundational poses, followed by a rotating section of one of the series, and finishes with a consistent closing sequence.
The focus is on healthy alignment, with attention on a different part of your body each week. You’ll also get to know variations, so you can always practice — regardless of fitness level or physical limitations.
